Why Introduce Yoga at Work?

Yoga at the workplace has been shown to save on costs relating to employee sickness. It can reduce physical issues including back pain, neck, shoulder and wrist tension. I tailor my classes specifically to target these areas.

As published by the Mental Health Foundation evidence suggests that 12.7% of all sickness absence days in the UK are mental health related. A yoga practice can reduce stress and symptoms of burnout. Providing this as an employee benefit can help improve mental well-being in and out of the workplace.

In addition, research in Industrial Psychiatry indicates mindfulness and self-control through yoga can help regulate emotions. It is a cost-effective way to create a more integrated team.

Yoga and mindfulness promotes the overall well-being of employees and could prevent future injuries or sickness. My aim is to help more people feel better. Go to my "About Me" section to read more about my story. Not sure? Let's talk about a trial session!

My Other Offerings

Guided meditation and relaxation are incorporated into my yoga sessions and I also offer them on their own as an online offering.

The idea is to quiet the mind so your team can rest and relax. I use techniques such as deep breathing and visualisation to connect to the present moment. Just 15 minutes can relax and restore balance.

Guided Meditation

The benefits of yoga at your desk can be felt by anyone from experienced yoga practitioners to beginners with mobility limitation.

These sessions will focus on areas wrists, neck, back and shoulders to relieve tension in these areas. These sessions will enable attendees to go away with stretches they can practice in their own time.
