About Me

My goal is to help more people improve their well-being. After ten years of feeling the benefits of yoga, and with a passion for mental well-being it was a natural progression to be a yoga instructor.

After experiencing the sudden loss of my partner in 2020, I know first-hand how healing a regular practice can be. I found yoga was not only grounding but also helped form a sense of normality through my grief period. yoga encourages re-connection with the present, which I found incredibly healing after loss. I now devote my teaching to helping all people feel better, guiding my students through mindful yoga practice so that they can switch off from the everyday stresses. Whether it is work pressure or personal life, a Yoga break helps us to feel more energised and grounded.

Coming from a HR background I understand the importance of employee connection, engagement and supporting a healthy team. Yoga in the workplace not only brings teams together but can also reduce absences.

I studied at Yoga Alliance and British Wheel of yoga-accredited teacher training in London. This inspiring training spanned two years, allowing for full exploration of each subject and included a specialised study on the therapeutic aspect of yoga teaching such as yoga for stress and specific back and postural alignment. I have a personal and continuing study of yoga for mental health as a volunteer  instructor at the Royal Sussex County Hospital reaching those in need in the local area.
